Bishop Pierce Moore, Jr., is the pastor of Savannah Deliverance Center, in Savannah, Georgia. He is a native of Coffee County, and a graduate of George Washington Carver High School, in Douglas, Georgia. Moore matriculated at Savannah State University where he earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Trades and Industrial Education. He went on to advance his educational training, at Georgia Southern University in Statesboro, Georgia. Additionally, he earned a Master of Education degree at Cambridge College in Cambridge, Massachusetts. Pastor Moore is a retired teacher from the Savannah Chatham County Public Schools System. He also served six years and eight months in the United States Army and is a Vietnam Veteran. Moore and his wife, Barbara, have five children.
